Intervew with Melissa Thomas (aka Meltyartz)

Hey everyone! Katie here! We are so sorry for the lack of content lately! Life has been extremely busy (and will only become more so over the holidays!) We will do our absolute best however to make sure we still get some content up! The plan for the coming week is to get at least one video up to talk about the new Resistance  episode and to get our interview with Temi Blaev (The stable boy from TLJ) up on the blog! Right now though, here is our interview with the extremely talented Melissa Thomas! We've talked to her briefly before (During our Artist interviews) but this time we got to chat with her even more!   We've talked to you briefly before. Last time we really just talked about art but I'm sure there is plenty more to talk about! Can you tell us a little bit about your 'style' and how you've developed it? Glad to talk again with you girls! Thank you for inviting me to do this interview. I feel like my style is in this constan...

Cosplays We Love

Hey everyone!      These days you can't go very far on the Internet without coming across a number of talented cosplayers. Today we are going to be featuring a few cosplayers we love! M. Blackburn             We first found M a few months ago when we discovered their four amazing Sabine Wren variants! You have done a lot of different Sabine variants. Which is your favorite and which is the most comfortable?             My favorite Sabine gear is probably the “epilogue” outfit! It also happens to be the most comfortable, because I don’t have to wear a wig- I use my natural hair! When did you first start cosplaying seriously?              I first started cosplaying more seriously a few years ago, maybe 4?  What inspires you?             Music! And film, and friends. It can be anything and everything that inspires m...

Interveiw with the Incredible Ashley Taylor!

Hello there!             We told you we would have some exciting stuff coming this week and here is the first of it. We had the chance to talk with the amazing, super talented, Ashley Taylor! We were really excited to do this because Ashley Taylor is not only an amazing and sweet person but she inspired both of us and creates beautiful art. She also is also constantly posting encouraging things on her Instagram stories that Katie was especially touched by. That's enough from us though, here is the interview, we hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did! We know you have a great story about how you got to where you are today, would you mind sharing it?             My career had an unconventional start! While I was in college, I had a professor who told me I had “Zero talent.” For years, I felt too embarrassed to show anyone my art. I felt like I wasn't "good" enough. It wasn’t until I found myself working at Walt Disney Worl...

The Dragon Prince

Hey everyone!           Katie here! I want to tell you a little bit about the new Netflix original show The Dragon Prince ! Now, since the show is only a few days old this post will be spoiler free but maybe soon we can talk about it a bit more in depth. Prince Callum             SO! What do you need to know? Well first of all this show was created by some of the people who also created the show Avatar: The Last Airbender , so, if you were a fan of that show make sure to check this one out! The show came out four days ago (September 14th) and there is currently one (1) season.             There are nine (9) episodes each lasting about twenty one (21) minutes long. They follow two Princes through an adventure alongside an elf assassin.             I was relaxing Saturday afternoon and was looking around on Netflix for something to watch when I stumbled upon this sh...

Fanart Feature

Hey everyone!  Anytime We are on Pinterest, Instagram or anywhere online we are always finding amazing fanart from all different fandoms. Today, we are going to be sharing a few of our personal favorites with you! Hannah: Hannah is a good friend of ours and is always amazing us with her skills across multiple mediums! Look at this Lara Croft (Tomb Raider) drawing! What is your favorite media?              While I love it all, my favorite media would probably be watercolor as well as alcohol-based markers.   When did you first seriously get into art?             The first time I really remember getting into art was when I designed my first character. She was a spy who was also a total dork, and she saved the world by accident here and there. I think I was 11, and I started writing her into a comic. I didn't get very far, but it was sure a fun project. I made a few covers for it and a couple cha...
